Thursday Aug 23 2007, The Fulton Reaves Project plays the Quarry Garden Plaza in Redding.

It was a balmy 106 degree day in Redding, and the evening wasn't cooled a bit by the hot playing Fulton Reaves Project. The outdoor show was well attended and well received. it was a really fun day.

The photos here were taken with a camera that doesn't do well in low light, and by a photographer who was also running stage lights and sound simultaneously (me, Skip Murphy) so most of the shots are as fuzzy as my brain was about that time. Craig Padilla and I opened the show with a 40 minute set beset by technical problems, but we made the best of the circumstances, and enjoyed the show. The Fulton Reaves Project sounded excellent. Craig and Bart Hawkins also videotaped the main event, so we will hopefully get to see a cool video of the show as soon as it's edited. You can still buy some CDs from these artists and enjoy a taste of this extraordinary summer night in the River City.
